Rodeo Weekend Camping Rules and Conditions


Kerribee Park is private property. The following rules and conditions apply to ALL so as to allow everyone to have an enjoyable and happy stay. Please be considerate of other people.

1. Management reserves the right to:

  • refuse entry at any time to any person 
  • evict any person or persons and remove their property from the park without any redress or reason
  • designate the site to be occupied
  • require an occupant at any time to move to another site at the management’s discretion

2. Tent camping is only permitted for a maximum of 3 nights over the rodeo weekend unless permission for extension is given by the management

3. Management accepts NO responsibility whatsoever for caravans, camps, motorhomes or vehicles and their contents whilst they remain at Kerribee Park.

4. Your overnight stay terminates at 10am Monday, a further day will be charged after this time.

5. Camping fees are payable in advance, NOT arrears.

6. Noise restrictions must be followed.

7. PARENTS are responsible for their children’s conduct & behaviour. Unruly behaviour or conduct will not be tolerated & any damages will be the responsibility of the parents.

8. The committee asks that you leave your dogs at home over the rodeo weekend. If you are a traveller in a caravan then the dog must be left at the caravan in a cool area with plenty of water. They must be on a leash/lead at all times and not be taken in the public areas. All droppings are to be collected and disposed of by owners.

9. NO open fires are permitted in the camping area. Small off-ground fire pits are OK

10. Generators cannot be used after 8pm over the Rodeo Weekend.

11. Illegal drugs, offensive language and excessive use of alcohol will NOT be tolerated.

12. Campers MUST keep their site clean and tidy. Rubbish must be suitably wrapped and deposited in the bins provided.

13. Star pickets are NOT to be used as tent pegs on this site.

14. NO drones are to be flown at Kerribee Park.

15. Quad bikes are not permitted.

16.  Keep to the speed limits, the speed limit is set for a reason (there are  pedestrians around). And slow down even further on dirt or dusty roads,  no one appreciates getting dust thrown up over their campsite. No burnouts, hooning or revving of vehicles will be tolerated. Qld Government licencing and road rules apply to all vehicle users.

17. All caravan draw bars must face the road. This is a legal requirement in case of fire.

18. The tap water at Kerribee Park is channel water.

19. Personal mobility devices (i.e. electric scooters/bikes) users are to comply with Qld Government rules.

  • Must be at least 16 years of age or at least 12 years and supervised by an adult
  • Children under 12 years of age must not ride personal mobility devices
  • Riders must wear a helmet at all times
  • No carrying/doubling is permitted


Any complaints must be referred to the secretary in person at the secretary’s office or by phone 4092 1583, between 10am and 2pm Monday to Friday.
